Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We offer the best service.  We don't over service our customers.  We check your sites on cold or snowy night, to see if anything changes in the weather conditions at no cost to you unless any service is required.

We have never had any unhappy customers.  In fact, we have been looking after the same customer for just under 20 years with no slip and fall.  To date we still haven't had any slip and falls.

We are fully licensed and carry 5M Liability insurance.

We always check the  weather forecast.  If  we know the temperature is going to drop below freezing overnight.  We will do salting service before your business opens or your staff comes in, then you should be good for 2-3 days.  Depending on moisture or if fog rolls in at nights we have our staff check your site to make sure the salt is still working.  If no salting service is required you won't be charged for this service. We will notify you we checked your site and what time, just for your record.

When the forecast looks like its going to snow.  We will inform our crew to be ready.  We will monitor the conditions in your area.  Sometimes we use traffic cameras or send a crew to check your site.  We try to wait till its stop snowing to save your budget, if the snow doesn't stop we will start plowing with enough time to clear your site before you open your business or your staff comes in.

We prefer not to pile in uphill because during the day the snow can melt washing the salt away and causing it to freeze again.  We will have a site meeting to see what the needs of the site is and to determine if any obstacle are on site like manhole covers, uneven concrete or asphalt sticking up that will do damage to the property or the plows

Yes, you can.  We have been working with the film industry for years.  We will just need a bit of information on the sites, certain requirements on the type of salt or UREA, or traction sand only.  It helps if you can provide a site map of the areas needing service and the deicing requirements and a contact person on site.  If snow plowing is required please inform us of any power cable running on the surface of any areas we are plowing.

There is a fee for pre-booking if you cancel 48 hours prior to service time you won't be charge.  If we service your site de-icing or plowing you will be charge only with the services we provided.
